Dale and Lori VanValkenburg

Dale and Lori were recognized and ordained through Living Word in September of 2008 being released and received as those who are planting the Word with love and compassion. They are serving at Living Word but also have established a home group reaching the community.

“A Tuesday evening gathering east of GAHANNA is looking for… you(?) We start around 7pm with some bites of food (especially for those coming right from the job site). Our Bible Study / Fellowship / Prayer time… usually starts by 8pm. (We are quite relaxed about a starting time- and a time to shut down.)

Come and go when you must- just come. Its non-denominational. We don’t have childcare- yet… but don’t let that stop you. Our meetings are for seekers, new believers, the lost… and OLD Believers too. Come hungry for more- of Him!

We are hosted by Dale and Lori who live in the Village at Jefferson Run. They are a married couple that have a heart’s desire to be of service to their Lord and Saviour- Jesus Christ. We want the Holy Spirit to be our Leader during our evenings together- and every other moment of life! We get into God’s Word- we kick around ideas about what God is- what He is not- and what we should be all about!

“Dale and Lori are lovers! They are head-over-heals in love with each other (and yes- they have been married just 3 years:) and- more importantly- they are in love with their God- the Creator of everything and the Lord of their lives. They have lived in Central Ohio for several years now but have always lived relatively close to Ohio.

They are former gym-rats that have found new reasons to get up in the morning. Dale has been in the financial services industry since graduating from college in the 70’s. Lori spent several years in the hospitality industry sandwiched between jobs related to the auditory and the visual sciences…

They are blessed to have Dale’s 3 awesome children (Emily, Seth and Nate) – along with Emily’s family and Seth’s wife- in their lives. The grace of Almighty God- His love and mercy- and the sacrifice of His sinless son, Jesus Christ, just for us-  is why we are excited to be alive… He alone is worthy!”
